About Me
top of pageI was born in the United Kingdom in 1949 and have since moved to Canada along with my family. Since then I have studied various forms of art mainly at Dundas School of Art, Ontario.
My preference is abstract artwork and I particularly like working with acrylic paint but I also enjoy working with watercolour, ink and pastels. Sometimes I mix the mediums in one piece of artwork. My inspiration comes from the world around me, whether it be the natural world or the manmade world - sometimes I will see a combination of colours together which triggers my imagination or I might see a pattern which interests me.

This watercolor (not for Sale) was done during a watercolour class a number of years ago and is a direct copy of the tutors painting. I was at week 8 of the 3 hour a week class and it was a moment of realization that just maybe I could paint.
Since that course I have gone on to do many painting and drawing classes exploring other mediums and styles.
