Interconnecting squares
I started out by drawing a bunch of interconnecting squares which I then painted in colours which complemented each other but I knew it needed something more. Then a flash of inspiration (!!) made me take it from squares to what you see now. I like the fact that parts of the painting are almost obscured and other parts are still sharp.

Triangle (with little squares)
I wanted to create a painting over two canvases and this is the result. I love the colours. I actually have another painting in mind which extends and alters the subject you see here - if it works out then you will see it appear on my site in the future.
Set of two(10" x 30" each) $175.00

City Reflections
This painting evolved almost without being certain how it would end up. As it progressed, I realised it had begun to look like a city at the water's edge, so I went with the flow and this is the result.
(24" x 20") $150.00

Alhambra Palace
If you ever get the opportunity to visit Spain and in particular Granada, then do not miss the Alhambra Palace. It has a Moorish influence and is spectacular. This acrylic painting is my abstract interpretation of just one archway.
(20" x 24") $150.00

Let's Party
This piece of acrylic artwork was donated to the Soroptimists as a raffle prize for their "I Love to Rock & Roll" evening. It was a great event and raised a good profit. The subject was inspired by the event.
